Sri Lankan selectors have recalled Isuru Udana and Dasun Shanaka for the only T20I against India on the 6th September at R. Premadasa grounds, Colombo.
The hard-hitting all-rounder Dasun Shanaka has played 12 T20Is up to now and he last appeared in February for the 3rd T20I where he picked up 2 wickets for 27 in 4 overs against Australia.
Left-arm seamer Isuru Udana is an experience campaigner in the shorter format who made his T20I debut way back in 2009 in Nottingham. He has played 9 T20Is up to now and taken 8 wickets with the best bowling been 3/13. He is a left-arm seamer well-known for his variations and he last played in January 2017 Cape town against South Africa.
The hosts had a disappointing Test series losing 3-0 and 5-0 in the ODIs and they are hoping to come back strong and record the 1st win against the high riding Indians.
