The Sri Lanka rugby football union announced today that the National selectors have cut down the Asian five nation’s squad to a 33 member pool.
The squad which is captained by Navy SC skipper Yoshitha Rajapakse will play against Chinese Taipei, Thailand and Kazakhstan. The tournament will be played in Sri Lanka and the hosts’ will be looking to gain promotion to the top division to play alongside the Asian big guns, Japan and Hong Kong.
The A5Nations Division 1 Tournament was advanced by one week to avoid the Sinhalese and Tamil New Year and will conclude on the 6th of April.
