Sunday Island learns that Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) was getting ready to officially write to fast bowler Lasith Malinga expressing their concern about his commitment.
SLC was going to demand the fast bowler to work with SLC’s coaches, sources said. Earlier there were reports that Malinga had refused to work with the national fast bowling coach Chaminda Vaas.
Malinga is currently in Australia representing Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League, Australia’s domestic T-20 competition.
