Malinda Pushpakumara’s 6 wicket haul made sure CCC secured a crucial 69 run first innings lead in their encounter against Saracens SC.
Saracens’ star from the opening day Chamikara Edirisinghe who captured a 9 wicket haul was the only man to stand tall with the bat too as he made a half century lower down the order.

SSC vs BRC
Rumesh Buddika struck a magnificent century but BRC fell short by 27 runs from SSC’s 289 first innings runs.
The ambidextrous Tharindu Ratnayake who is also the highest wicket taker of the tournament with 30 wickets, went about his business once again with another five wicket haul.

SSC were in a spot of bother though when stumps were drawn as they were 127/6 but Kaushal Silva held one end up to remain unbeaten on 57*.

Ragama CC vs Tamil Union
Sachithra Serasinghe’s unbeaten century put Tamil Union on track to hunt down the mammoth 433 runs made by Ragama CC in their first innings.

He got very good support from Tharanga Paranavithana who remained unbeaten on 76* as Tamil Union ended the day on 223/2.
