Seekkuge Prasanna launched a mind-boggling innings after coming to the crease when Army were 5 for 53 at Katunayaka. His unbeaten 30 ball 76 which included 2 fours and 9 massive sixes, wasn’t enough for an Army victory.

Prasanna regularly lost partners at the other end to see them lose by just 10 runs.
Earlier in the day, Ragama CC piled on 160/7, top scored by former Peterite Shehan Fenando’s 72.

But both teams failed to qualify for the knockouts.

Opener Dhanushka Dharmasiri’s steady 67 set the tone for a thrilling win by 1 wicket for Kurunagala Youth CC at CCC. They chased 144 runs to complete their 2nd win of the tournament.
