Colts Cricket Club completely dominated the second day’s play in their encounter against Army Cricket Club which was played at Colts Ground in Colombo. Jehan Daniel was the star performer as he showed his class with both bat and ball scoring a magnificent knock of 156 runs while capturing 2 wickets for just 11 runs.

After been put into bat first, Colombo Cricket Club posted 131 runs for 4 wickets at stumps on day one. The match was played at Colombo Cricket Club Ground but it was badly interrupted by rain which meant only 32 overs were bowled in the day. Left handed stroke maker Minod Bhanuka remained unbeaten on 58 runs while right handed batsman Wanindu Hasaranga chipped in with 46 runs for Colombo Cricket Club.

Tamil Union bowlers led by tall left arm fast medium bowler Binura Fernando demolished Sri Lanka Ports Authority batsmen as they bowled them out for just 53 runs in the first day’s play at P Sara Oval Ground in Colombo.
