Bloomfield Cricket & Athletic Club managed to qualify for the final of SLC Major Clubs 3-Day Tournament 2024/25.
Bloomfield Cricket & Athletic Club registered a comfortable win over Badureliya Sports Club in their Group A encounter ended today at Bloomfield Grounds.

Centuries from Ron Chandraguptha and Ravindu Fernando and a match-winning spell from Jeffrey Vandersay played pivotal roles in Bloomfield’s victory.

Chandraguptha struck 119 runs off 126 balls with 11 fours and 2 sixes while Fernando hit 114 runs off 90 balls with 7 fours and 7 sixes. Vandersay ripped through Badureliya second innings, claiming 6 wickets for 66 runs.
With this win, Bloomfield C & AC managed to seal their place in the final of the tournament, and they are set to meet NCC in the summit clash from 5th to 8th March at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo.
