Movin Subasinghe of Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club put on quite a show with the bat, as the big-built right-hander smacked 24 runs off 10 deliveries.
He walked in at a critical situation in the game with his team choked up at 5 for 37, in just the 4th over of the match. When most of us would have expected him to occupy the crease and stabilize the innings, he went all guns blazing at the bowlers and put them back up on the scoring rate.
It was a 15-overs a side affair between these two teams, and the stabilization part was assigned to the Skipper of the airmen, Lasanda Rukmal, who scored 31 off 30 deliveries to take his team to 118 runs at the end of their allotted overs.
The left-arm spinner, Chanaka Devinda of Ace Capital CC, bowled exceptionally well for his figures of 4 for 17 at the top of the innings, but the rest of the bowlers ended up giving away too many runs at the latter end.

Subasinghe too was instrumental with the ball in hand, as the right-arm off spinner opened the bowling for the Air Force SC and picked up 2 wickets for 21 runs in his 3 overs.
The leg-spinner from Anuradhapura ended up being the pick of the bowlers for the Air Force SC. He bagged 3 wickets in just the 11 deliveries as Ace Capital CC were bundled out for 86 runs.

Another game between Bloomfield CAC and SL Navy SC also managed to produce a result after being cut down to just 6 overs a side. Bloomfield CAC ended on the merry side, having scored 16 runs in excess.
Malinda Perera of Bloomfield and Dilanka Auwardt of SL Navy SC both picked up 3 wickets each in the game to earn their mention here.
