Six more matches of SLC Major Club T20 Tournament 2020/21 worked off today (14th March) at Colombo and Katunayake. National capped Sadeera Samarawickrama’s blistering knock with the bat lights up the day.

Tamil Union C&AC registered an easy 69-run win over Navy SC thanks to the blistering innings played by national capped Sadeera Samarawickrama. He stroked 93 runs off 50 balls with 6 fours and 4 sixes.
The encounter between Army CC and Saracens SC went down to the wire but the soldiers held their nerves to get over the line at the last minute registering a 1-run win. CCC continued their winning streak registering another win today which came against BRC. With this win, CCC top Group A winning all 6 matches in the group stage.
Panadura SC recorded their second win of the tournament defeating Sebastianites in a low-scoring affair worked off today at Colts Grounds. Former Sri Lanka U19 fast bowler Charith Jayampathy turned the game in favor of Panadura SC taking 4 scalps for 26 runs.
Right arm seamer Rajith Priyan’s exceptional bowling display (4/20) and a well-compiled half-ton made by Dilshan Kanchana ensured Galle CC won their clash against Nugegoda S&WC by 5 wickets.
The encounter between Negombo CC and Kandy Customs was interrupted by rain thus the winner was declared through the DLS method. Kandy Customs had to chase down a target of 71 runs in 9 overs according to the DLS method but they fell 17 runs short of the target.
