Sky Market Travels (Pvt) Ltd has partnered with Sri Lanka Schools’ Football to support the development of school football in the country.
As their first initiative, the company is sponsoring the Sri Lanka Schools’ National Championship 2024 Under-20 Division One tournament, organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Football Association with the support of the Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL).
The tournament, featuring 20 top school teams, has long served as a platform for young talent to shine on a national stage. This sponsorship marks Sky Market Travels’ first collaboration with FFSL and the Schools Football Association, aiming to elevate the standard of Sri Lankan football.
An official event at the FFSL headquarters in Colombo celebrated the partnership, with notable attendees including FFSL President Jaswar Umar, former National Team Captain Sampath Perera, Elite Youth Manager Dudley Steinwall, Sky Market Travels Managing Director Mohamed Faroos, and other key stakeholders.
