Kurunegala YCC vs SL Airforce SC
The airmen were in a spot of bother at stumps on day 2 in their match against Kurunegala YCC at Kurunegala. The home side was 68 for 3 at stumps and still trailing by 39 runs. Early on, Airforce were bowled out for 200 with Thilina Herath taking a 7 wicket haul for the home side. In reply Kurunegala posted 307 for their first innings with Hashan Prabath top scoring with an unbeaten 81. Duminda Dasanayake played a vital cameo of 42 at No 11. Achila Eranga and Lakshan Fernando bagged 3 wickets each for the visitors.

Lankan CC vs Kaluthara TC
Lankans edged closer to another outright win as they tightened the screws on Kaluthara TC. Kaluthara were 23 for 2 in their second innings after they were asked to follow on. They are still trailing by 134 runs and it will take some fight to overcome the challenge by Lankans.
Early on, Lankans posted 446 for 9 in their first innings with a brilliant double ton by Maduranga Soyza. Lal Kumar scored a run a ball 107 for the Lankans which allowed them score at brisk pace on day 1. In reply Kaluthara were cleaned up for 289 in their first innings. Navin Kavikara bagged a 4-for while Rajeewa Weerasinghe bagged 2 wickets for the Lankans. Yohan De Silva top scored with 68 to go with his five wicket haul for the Kaluthara boys.

SLPA vs Panadura SC
Panadura edged over the table top rivals SLPA in their match at Panadura. The home side was 63 for 3 and with a lead of 159 runs at stumps on day 2. Early on, Panadura posted 306 runs for their first innings with Hasantha Fernando top scoring with 84 runs and Sanjaya Chathuranga makibg a valuable half century. In reply SLPA only made 210 for their first innings with Ishan Rangana scoring a fighting knock of 75 runs. Gayan Sirisoma was yet again amongst the wickets and it was once again a match changing effort by the experienced player. His figures stood at 7 for 95 in 32 overs.

SL Navy vs Kaluthara PCC
Navy ended the second day with a 2nd innings lead of 146 in their match against Kaluthara PCC at Welisara. Navy in their second innings were cruising at 112 for 3 at stumps on day 2.
They lost two wickets in the first over but an unbeaten partnership of 75 between Buddika Hasaranga and Kusal Edusuriya helped them regain control of the match. Early on Navy posted 258 for the first innings with Sameera Sandamal top scoring with 79. Ramesh Selvaraj bagged 4 wickets for Kaluthara. In reply Kaluthara could only make 224 with valuable cameos by Krishan Dinidu and Rasika Fernando. Dilanka Auwardt bagged 4 wickets and Dhanushka Malan took 3 wickets for the Navy.
