Sri Lankan fast bowler Shiran Fernando has been added to Sri Lanka T20 World Cup squad as a reserve player.
The 28-year old Fernando has departed the island two days ago to join Sri Lankan contingent at UAE who are preparing for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Fernando’s addition to Sri Lankan squad is due to the injury concerns of fast bowler Nuwan Pradeep who got injured during the first T20 against Oman worked off last week.
However, ThePapare.com learns that Pradeep hasn’t yet ruled out of the tournament as he currently recovering from the injury and still training in UAE.
Sri Lanka will begin their T20 World Cup campaign on 18th October when they take on Namibia in the fourth match of first round of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.
