Sri Lankan U19 cricketer Shevon Daniel impressed with the bat playing a blazing knock for Gujranwala Giants in Pakistan Junior League 2022.
The 18-year-old Daniel who batted at number 3 for Gujranwala Giants in the 4th match of Pakistan Junior League held yesterday (08th October), stroked 81 runs off 51 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 158.82.
Daniel’s knock helped his team post 179/6 in the allotted 20 overs against Bahawalpur Royals. Unfortunately, Daniel ended up on the losing side as the opposition team chased down the target in the 20th over with 5 wickets in hand.
Daniel’s Gujranwala Giants will play their next game on 12th October against Gwadar Sharks. Giants will be desperate for a win in their next encounter as they have already lost both their games played so far in the tournament.
