Sri Lanka’s women’s cricket captain Sashikala Siriwardene has been selected to represent the Rest of the World team that will play against the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at Lords ground.
There has never been an MCC Women vs. Rest of the World Women match at Lord’s, neither has a Rest of the World women’s team ever taken the field anywhere in the World. The Match which will be played on May 19 will be an unique occasion. This match is in celebration of the Bicentenary of the present ground.
Shashikala Siriwardene has been selected by MCC in association with the ICC Women’s Committee.
