The incumbent President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), Shammi Silva has been appointed as the Chairman of the Finance and Marketing Committee of the Asian Cricket Council.
Jay Shah, the President of the Asian Cricket Council, confirmed his appointment which was made at a meeting held yesterday.
Silva will head the finance and marketing committee which comprises of six other members accredited to the Asian governing body and will be in charge of all the matters pertaining to Finance and Marketing of the Asian Cricket Council.
Apart from this appointment, Silva has been included as a member in the Development Committee of the Asian Cricket Council.
