Malay Cricket Club, Leo Cricket Club, Old Dharmapalian Sports Club and United Southern Sports Club have secured their places in the Semi-Finals of Governor’s Trophy Tournament 2022.
In the first Semi-Final encounter, Malay Cricket Club will take on Leo Cricket Club on the 26th September at Bloomfield Cricket Grounds. Malay Cricket Club topped the points table of Group A winning 10 out of 11 matches played while Leo Cricket Club placed at 2nd position in Group B points table winning 8 out of 11 matches played in the Group stage.

Old Dharmapalian Sports Club who topped the Group B points table winning 9 out of 11 matches will take on United Southern Sports Club, the second placed winner of Group A with 8 wins in 11 matches at Dombagoda Grounds on the same day.
Meantime, Narammala Sports Club and Crusaders Sports Club who finished at the bottom of points tables of Group A and Group B respectively will be relegated to the Intra-Province Tournament from next year as per the tournament structure.
