The second T20I match between Sri Lanka and India, originally scheduled to be played on the 27th of July, has been pushed forward by a day and will now take place on 28th of July.
Following the Rapid Antigen Tests conducted ahead of the match on Tuesday morning, Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya was found to be positive. The Medical Teams have identified eight members as close contacts.

The entire contingent is undergoing RT-PCR tests today to ascertain any further outbreak in the squad.
India lead the three-match series, 1-0 following their 38-run victory in the first T20I match played on Sunday (25th July).

The revised schedule is as below;
- 2nd T20I – 28th July – 8.00pm – R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium
- 3rd T20I – 29th July – 8.00pm – R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium
