The under 19 limited over tournament commenced on 9th March with the two-day league champions, Trinity College and defending champions of the under 19 limited overs tournament, Thurstan College playing their opening matches.

Trinity College easily knocked out a division 3 outfit, Rajasinghe MV by a huge 232 runs at Asgiriya stadium.
Left-arm spinner Duvindu Tillakarathne claimed a six-wicket haul while Dilan Madusanka top-scored with 94 for the hosts.

Under 19 limited overs defending champions, Thurstan College knocked out Dharmasoka College by 6 wickets at Thurstan grounds.
