The All-island schools games are currently underway in many disciplines. Badminton was worked off 03-05th October at Royal College – Colombo 07 (boys) and D.S. Senanayaka College – Colombo 07 (girls). The competition was among the U 17 & U 20 boys/girls categories.
The All-island best player in the girls and boys categories was also adjudged. Ranthushka Sasindu of Nalanda College – Colombo 10 took the award for the boys while Hashini Ambalangoda of Vishaka Girls College – Colombo took the award for the girls segment.
