19-year old stylish right-hander from D.S Senanayake College, Akeel Inham cracked his 3rd century for the season when he stroked 143 runs against Isipathana College while St. Peter’s College took the upper hand in their game against Wesley College when they blasted 357 in their 1st innings.

Isipathana skipper Chameera Dissanayake won the toss and elected to field first at DS grounds and his decision backfired when Akeel’s brilliant 143 led the hosts to a commanding 384 for 7 wickets before declaring their innings.
Three other half tons came through, Vishal Amugoda, Uvin Bandara and skipper Harith Maduwantha. The visitors were 52 for no loss in 15 overs with Davis Imesha unbeaten on 37.
