Sri Lanka National Men’s Team set to tour New Zealand during March-April 2023 to engage in an all-format tour.
Sri Lanka will play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and T20Is against the Kiwis. The 2-match Test series is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2021-2023 cycle while the 3-match ODI series is part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.
The visitors will play a 2-day warmup game on the 04th and 05th March at Hagley Oval in Christchurch ahead of the Test series which will begin on the 09th March at the same venue.
The white-ball series between the sides will be played from 25th March to 08th April. The tour of New Zealand will be a very vital one for Sri Lanka as the outcome of the Test and ODI series will determine their chances of qualifying for ICC ODI World Cup and ICC World Test Championship Final which will be happening this year.
