The national selectors have decided to rest Kumar Sangakkara for the 4th and 5th ODI games and he will fly back home after the 3rd ODI in Hyderabad.
Lahiru Thirimanne and Dinesh Chandimal have been drafted into the squad after been left out of the first 3 games and they earned the recall due to their strong showing against the touring West Indies ‘A’ team.
Sri Lanka’s bowling in-experience has been the cynosure of all eyes after 2 games and to bolster their bowling arsenal, spinner Ajantha Mendis and seamer Shaminda Eranga have been included.
