Cricketing legends Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne announced their team and squad composition for the Cricket All Stars T20 League after a draw in New York on Thursday. The much-awaited and hyped T20 league comprising of star and retired players from all across the globe is set to be played from November 7 in USA, with the venues being New York, Houston and Los Angeles. Earlier AFP reported that Warne and Tendulkar wants to follow David Beckham’s footsteps to popularise cricket in USA. The Australian spin king has jetted into New York with Indian batting great Tendulkar to embark on an exhibition tour designed to get baseball-loving Americans up to speed with a sport few of them understand, play or ever watch. “Soccer wasn’t big. David Beckham came over here and suddenly the sport is starting to grow,” Warne told reporters at a hotel in Times Square ahead of the first All-Stars game on Saturday.
