S. Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia and Visakha Vidyalaya claimed the Western Province Under 20 Hockey titles for 2022. The final matches were worked off at the Astro Turf in Reid Avenue.
A sum of 25 teams featured in this encounter from Colombo, Gampaha and Kaluthara districts and the top two teams of the two categories qualified to play in the grand finale.

S. Thomas College went up against St. Joseph’s College in the boys’ final and secured the win with a final score line of 2-0 whilst Visakha Vidyalaya bagged their victory over President’s College Nawala in the girls’ final. [1-0]
St. Peter’s College and Musaeus College claimed 3rd place in the tournament defeating Maris Stella College and Ladies’ College respectively.
