The Royal College U-18 team comprises of a gifted set of individuals who play their hearts out on the field. The side lead by young Devin Sibera has had a decent run so far.
The young team have played three games and won 1 while 2 games have resulted in draws. The win against Wesley College 12 to 7 points was a thrilling game which eventually they won quite convincingly.
The team is coached by Shashika Cooray an eminent player in his day and assistant by Ravishan Dasanayaka, the energetic scrum half. The Royal U-18 team will definitely look to bring honor to their Alma Mater at their big game against rivals Trinity College, Kandy which is being played for the Simithriarachchi Trophy.
These under eighteeners are not short of talent and will definitely look to put on a thriller of a game at the first leg of the Simithriarachchi trophy which is played just before the Bradby main event.

Although these young Royalists are little in size they are not little at heart when it comes to playing Rugby for the famed school. The Royal College U16 look formidable for their age as they have won all matches they have played this season showing a great potential for Royal in the future.
The team led by Nikhil De Silva and deputy Sabith Feroze will definitely showcase their talents at their fullest vs Trinity College Kandy. As the boys learn of books and learn of men they are taught to play the game by Head coach Asanga Rodrigo and Alfred Hensman as his deputy while CP Abeygunawardane acts as the junior head coach training these boys technically as well as mentally.
