A 5 month long period of the Singer Schools U13 Division 01 Cricket Tournament came to an end yesterday 16th February 2019 at Maliyadewa grounds, Kurunagala when Royal College, Colombo took on St. Anthony’s College, Kandy in the grand final.

It was a one side game from the beginning of the match when Royal College won the toss and opted to bat first. Juniors from Royal College managed to bat the whole day and score 157 runs losing just 4 wickets in 78 overs, when the umpires called it off for the day. Buda Kumarathunga scored 54 runs while Kevan Panapitiya scored 46 runs.
The match ended in a draw while Royal College, Colombo won with bonus points to conquest the All Island U13 Division 01 Championship.
