The 2024 RItzbury relay carnival day 2 shaped up to be a competitive day on the track with Lyceum College, Wattala clinching girl’s U20 4×100 relay finals. Later in the day Wattala Lyceumites clinched the gold medal in the U14 4×50 boy’s finals as well.
Highlight of the day was Walala A Rathnayake Central College clinching the gold medals in boy’s U16, U18 and U20 4×800 events.
There’s still plenty of action ahead on day 3 of the Ritzbury Relay Carnival, with some exciting races yet to come. Spectators can look forward to thrilling performances and fierce competition as the event continue.
