Red Bull Ride My Wave 2025 which was organized for the 10th time in celebrating epic surf action was concluded in a successful note at Hikkaduwa Surf Point a Beach on 7th and 8th March.
The surfing athletes from Sri Lanka, Brazil, France, India, England, Russia, Sweden, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland, New Zealand, South Africa, Nicaragua, Belgium, Australia, Norway, Finland, UAE, Israel, Philippines, Hungary, Netherland, Estonia and Denmark took part in the competition and the winners were awarded trophies and prize money.

Kailash Mason from Sri Lanka won the Men’s competition to be crowned as King of the Wave while Shelamea Arjona from Philippines won the Women’s competition to be crowned as Queen of the Wave.

More than 110 local and foreign surfing athletes participated in this event, which was organized with the aim of providing local athletes with experience in an international competition and showing the world that Sri Lanka is a country suitable for surfing events.
