Sri Lanka’s veteran spinner Rangana Herath has hinted that he might call it a day after the Test series against England in November.
The player with the longest Test career for Sri Lanka, Rangana Herath has already retired from white-ball cricket. He also holds the record for the most Test wickets taken by a left-arm bowler.

Rangana Herath revealed his future career plans in an interview conducted by BBC Sinhala at the Galle International Stadium where the Sri Lankan team will take on the touring South Africans in the 1st of the two-match Test series.
“Every player has to retire at a certain stage of his career. I think now I’m in the stage of taking a decision on my retirement. So after the series against South Africa I’ll talk to the Captain, Coach, Selectors and the Cricket Board, and take a decision. Maybe my final series will be the England series” he said.
