Opening batsman Sadeera Samarawickrama slammed his second consecutive century while off-spinner Rajeewa Weerasinghe grabbed a five-fer as LB Finance crushed Kanrich Finance by 189 runs in their 26th Singer-MCA Premier League fixture played at De Zoysa Stadium in Moratuwa on Sunday.

After a stunning 125 in the first game against Sampath Bank, Sadeera was once again in top form as he slammed 118 to guide LB Finance total to 342 for 9 from their allotted 50 overs. Former Sri Lanka U19 captain Charith Asalanka, playing his maiden season for LB Finance made a vital contribution of 83 as well.

For Kanrich Finance, fast bowler Udith Madushan took 3 scalps. In reply, they were bundled out for just 153 inside 39 overs. Left-arm seamer Isuru Udana managed to get 3 wickets but the main star for LB Finance was 31-year old right-arm off-spinner Rajeewa Weerasinghe who ripped through the Kanrich Finance batting unit, taking 5 scalps for 37 runs.

Sampath Bank suffered their second loss in the ongoing 26th Singer-MCA Premier League when they were comprehensively beaten by 4 wickets by MAS Silueta at Colts Grounds.
After being sent into bat first, Sampath Bank managed to get only 203 runs, thanks to a fine 74 by right-handed wicket-keeper batsman Sameen Kandenarachchi.

Chasing 204 runs to win, opening batsman Shehan Fernando got MAS Silueta to a fine start with a blistering 50 while the chase was completed by hard-hitting Nimanda Subasinghe, who made an unbeaten 57.

Discarded Sri Lanka batsman Lahiru Thirimanne’s fine century guided Hayleys to comfortable 71-run win over Teejay Lanka in their 26th Singer-MCA Premier League clash at Surrey Village grounds in Maggona.
Thirimanne made 109 and remained unbeaten as Hayleys posted 316 for the loss of 4 wickets after electing to bat first. Andy Solomons and Ron Chandragupta made a couple of 60s as well.
Teejay Lanka could not find any momentum or rhythm in their chase despite half-centuries by Ruvindu Gunasekara and Sachith Pathirana. Left-arm spinner Lasith Embuldeniya took 4 wickets despite leaking 78 runs.

Sri Lanka Test opening batsman Dimuth Karunarathne slammed 84 while skipper Bhanuka Rajapaksha made 60 as John Keells posted a commanding 271 from their allotted 50 overs.
Commercial Credit in reply reached the target in the 45th over. Kapugedara and De Silva made 91* and 92 respectively to steer the chase.
