The never ending Dialog Champions League 2016 has again been dragged on as the Super 8 Week 2, which was supposed to start this weekend, is being postponed due to the heavy rain that has been pouring down in and around the Colombo area.
The Super 8 week 2 was scheduled to kick start the stop-go tournament after a two month long break, due to National team commitments, but this time rain has come in the way of it.
The matches postponed are tomorrow’s (19th Nov) Blue Star v Air Force & Colombo FC v Solid, as well as 20th November’s Renown v New Youngs which were scheduled to be played at Kelaniya Football & City League Football Complex.
However the Army SC v Navy SC which is scheduled for 21st November at Kelaniya Football Complex is still going ahead as planned.
* Updated as of 20th November 4.30pm, the Army SC v Navy SC match, which was scheduled for 21st November, is also postponed.
