12th Battle of the Golden Lions ends in a draw

Rahula College played against Dharmapala College in the 12^th Battle of the Golden Lions, which ended in a draw today at Uyanwatta Grounds, Matara.

In reply, the Dharmapala batters were able to post only 141 runs for their 1^st innings courtesy of Sadev Gamage, who claimed a 5-wicket haul for Rahula College.

With a slight advantage on 1^st innings, Rahula decided to declare their 2^nd innings on 121/5, with Thathsara Dilshan scoring a fifty.

Chasing 278 to win without enough remaining overs, Dharmapala lost 3 wickets 14 runs in the 4 overs they batted. In the meantime, the match ended in a draw.
