After dismissing their opponents for the second time in the match Ragama CC raced to their target in style while scoring 206 runs for the loss of only three wickets with Udara Jayasundera leading the run chase.

The elegant opening batsman hit a sparkling 89 from just 88 deliveries with the help of four sixes and ten boundaries to set up their victory before Ian Daniel and Chanaka Wijesinghe added the finishing touches with an unfinished fourth wicket partnership of 51 runs.

Earlier Sri Lanka Ports Authority CC were dismissed for 288 runs in their second innings despite a splendid century from Sachithra Serasinghe who hoisted one six and struck ten boundaries.

Meanwhile the CCC cruised towards a resounding 170 runs outright victory over Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club in their SLC inter club Premier League cricket tournament match which concluded at Maitland Crescent today.

Chasing a tough victory target of 314 runs the Airmen struggled to put up any resistance from the beginning and folded up for a disappointing 143 runs from 32 overs with the two spinners Dinuka Hettiarachchi (3 for 70) and Lakshan Rangika (3 for 4) causing the damage.

Earlier the CCC recovered well from an early setback to post an impressive 302 runs in their second innings following some solid batting from the middle order batsmen Chamara Silva (75), skipper Hasantha Fernando (69) and Chaturanga Kumara (58).

The NCC fell short by just two wickets from an outright victory as their SLC inter club Premier League cricket tournament match against Sri Lanka Army Sports Club ended in a draw at Panagoda today.

Chasing a challenging victory target of 299 runs the home side were well on course at one stage following some splendid batting from their top order batsmen Sahan Jayawardena (50), skipper Asela Gunaratne 56 and Manjula de Zoysa (81).

However spinner Sohan Boralessa brought the NCC back into the game while claiming four vital wickets for 95 runs and as a result Army SC were forced to put up their shutters and to play the last few overs cautiously.
