Ragama CC, Colts CC, SSC and Moors SC booked their places in the Premier Limited Overs Tournament 2014/15 semi-finals as the group stage was completed on 16th December.
NCC vs Chilaw Marians
Off-spinner Tharindu Kaushal picked up a five-wicket haul to help NCC bundle out Chilaw Marians for 99 and record a 7-wicket win at NCC grounds.
The visitors’ innings lasted only 26.3 overs as the 21-year old spinner tormented them in 6 overs to pick up the 5 wickets. Farveez Maharoof captured 3 wickets as well. Skipper Upul Tharanga guided them home with an unbeaten 56.

Moors qualified for the semi-finals after winning their final league game by 51 runs (D/L method) against SL Ports Authority CC at Moors grounds.
The match was reduced to 27 overs and the hosts made 154 for 8 with Kosala Kulasekara making an unbeaten 37. Left-arm spinner Malinda Pushpakumara took 3 wickets. The visitors were 81/7 in 23.3 overs when the game was prematurely stopped due to bad light.

Strong Colts CC outfit recorded a 42-run win over SL Air Force at Colts grounds in another rain-affected fixture.
In a 47-over game, the hosts made 235/9 with Shehan Jayasuriya chipping with 59 runs. The Airmen in their chase was 124/5 in 36.2 overs. Left-arm spinner Sachith Pathirana took 3 wickets for the hosts.

SSC bowlers combined well to dismiss Badureliya for 97 and cruised to a 6-wicket win at SSC grounds. Lassana Perera made 20 as the visitors were bundled within 32 overs. Kasun Madusanka grabbed 3 wickets. Kaushal Silva steered the simple chase with an unbeaten half-ton.

Ragama vs Saracens
Ragama CC sealed the final spot in the semi-finals with a close 4-run win over the underdogs,Saracens SC at Katunayake.
Saracens batting first made only 167 all out in 49.5 overs. Nisal Randika made 51 runs. Ragama was 126/6 in 37 overs as bad light stopped play and according to D/L method, Ragama was 4 runs ahead. Lahiru Milantha made 56 runs.
