Captain Ashan Priyanjan and wicket keeper Lasith Abeyratne scored centuries for Colombo CC as the visitors piled on 400 runs against Moors SC while Amila Aponso, Jeffrey Vandersay and Charith Sudaraka bagged 5-for’s for Ragama, SSC and Colts respectively.
In other games around Colombo and it suburbs, Badureliya and Tamil Union ended day one in pole position against Galle CC and NCC respectively.

Winning the toss and bowling first, the home team managed to restrict the visitors Galle CC to a below par 218 as captain Alankara Asanka bagged (3/44) and Dilesh Gunaratne (3/53) shared six wickets between them.
Nilushan Nonis and Damith Hunukumbura were the only two batsmen to go past scores of 30 scoring 62 and 55 respectively.
The Badureliya openers failed to survive nine overs as both batsmen were dismissed as the day drew to a close with 33 on board for the loss of 2 wickets.

In reply, Ragama ended day one with 69 for the loss of 2 wickets on the board as both openers lost their wickets.
