Police SC vs Navy SC
Police were cleaned up for just 96 runs in their first innings against Navy at Welisara.
Navy were 289 for 7 at stumps on day one and then went on to post 376 with 20-year old Kusal Edusuriya’s scoring 145 runs. Police after a heavy defeat last week suffered another batting collapse as the sailors cleaned up the ten wickets in just 36.1 overs.
Off-spinner, Ashan Ranasinghe took 3 for 20 while fast bowler Dinushka Malan and left arm spinner Dilanka Auwardt bagged 2 wickets apiece for the Sailors. At stumps on day 2, the Cops were in a spot of bother with 5 wickets in hand and trailing by 187 runs.

Kurunegala YCC vs Kalutara Physical Culture Club
This crucial encounter is hanging on the balance as Kalutara is only 69 runs away from victory with 6 wickets intact at Surrey Village grounds in Maggona.
They were 143 for 6 at the start off day 2 but the remaining four wickets fell for just 49 runs which gave a 5 run lead to the boys from Kurunegala. Ruwantha Ekanayake took a five-for for Kurunegala YCC.
In reply, Kurunegala could only make 151 runs which gave Kalutara a target of 157 runs. Ramesh Selvaraj bagged 3 for 71 to go with his six-for in the first innings. At stumps Kalutara was 88 for 4 with Chathura Damith unbeaten on 33.

SL Air Force vs Lankan CC
Lankan CC 315 for their first innings on day 2 in their match against Air Force at Army Grounds in Panagoda.
Captain and former Josephian all rounder Rajeewa Weerasinghe top scored with a fine unbeaten 77 runs from 102 balls which included 7 fours and 3 sixes while experienced campaigner Maduranga Zoysa scored a valuable 68 in the middle order. Nilan Priyanath bagged 4 for 64 with the ball for the Airmen.
In reply, Air Force were 29 for 2 for their second innings.
