St.Peter’s College Bambalapitiya emerged champions of the inaugural “Singer Cup” Inter Schools Six-a-side Cricket tournament at Thurstan grounds recently (Friday).
St. Peter’s Bambalapitiya beat S.Thomas’ Mt. Lavinia by 12 runs in the final.
This tournament was organized by SLSCA under the sponsorship of Singer Sri Lanka (PLC) Ltd. at which 12 schools participated.
St. Peter’s beat Isipathana and S. Thomas’ beat Thurstan in the semi finals.
St. Peter’s scored 57 runs for 3 wickets in 5 overs and S. Thomas’ were bowled out for 45 runs.
