Panadura registered an innings and 15 run victory against Police SC today at Panadura. After the heroics by Gayan Sirisoma yesterday, Charith Buddika bagged a fifer as Police got cleaned up for just 151 in their second innings. Gayan ended with match figures of 11 for 78.
Early on, Panadura posted 263 for their first innings with Mishen Silva top scoring with 60 and in reply Police were cleaned up for just 97 runs due to a splendid bowling performance by Gayan Sirisoma who took 9 wickets.

SLPA ended the second day with the game almost in their hands. They resumed play with 123 for 3 and they went onto post a formidable 347 thanks to half centuries from Ranesh Perera and Gayan Manishan. Hashan James was the pick of the bowlers for the home side with a four-for. Airmen came onto bat in the dying moments of the game and they were in trouble at stumps with already 4 batsmen back in the pavilion for just 60 runs.
Early on, Air Force were bowled out for just 172 runs after they were put to bat first.

Dhanushka Dharmasiri’s 134 guided Kurunegala Youth to a mammoth first innings total of 375 for 9 at stumps on day 2. They resumed play at 83 for 1. Dhanushka was unbeaten on 44 and he made sure he converted the start to a big one. He got good support from Hashan Prabath who was unbeaten on 97 at stumps. Madura Madusanka bagged 4 for 45 and Dilanka Aywardt took 3 for 81.
