Sri Lanka Cricket has named an 18-member squad to play the upcoming 2 match Test series against Bangladesh.
Opening batter Lahiru Thirimanne has been dropped from the Test squad after a poor series against India where he aggregated only 25 runs in 4 Test innings.
The top order will be further depleted as Pathum Nissanka will not be part of the touring party as he hasn’t recovered from back injury, which he sustained during the 2nd Test against India last month.
