Sri Lanka’s fast bowler Nuwan Thushara has been ruled out from India series due to injury.
Thushara has broken his finger during a fielding practice session held in Pallekele yesterday (24th July) ahead of the three-match T20I series between Sri Lanka and India.

The selectors haven’t yet announced a replacement for him in Sri Lanka squad. The strength of Sri Lanka’s pace attack will be diminished as two of their premier white-ball bowlers – Chameera and Thushara will not feature in the India series.

Sri Lanka will take on India in three-match T20I series and three-match ODI series from 27th July to 7th August.
