The Kandy team has already booked their place in the final winning 5 out of 7 games played so far, having accumulated 26 points. The Dambulla team languishes at the bottom of the points table after winning only 1 game out of 8 games already played out of the tournament.
However, the other three teams – Jaffna, Galle and Colombo – are still in contention to join the Kandy team in the final.

It is a must-win game for Jaffna because if they lose, either Galle or Colombo will join Kandy in the final.
Team Galle
The Galle team currently stands at 3rd place in the points table with 17 points, having won 4 out of 7 games played so far, and will also play their final game on Wednesday (16th February) against Kandy.
Even if Galle beat Kandy in the next game, their fate will depend on the clash between Jaffna and Colombo. While winning the next game, Galle also want Jaffna to win against Colombo in their final group game.
Team Colombo
After winning 3 out of 7 games played so far, Colombo stands at 4th place in the points table with 14 points. Colombo also has to win against Jaffna in order to have hopes of qualifying for the final. Not only that, they will also need Kandy to beat Galle in their final group game on Wednesday (16th February).
