All Blacks centre Ma’a Nonu has signed a two-year deal with French Top 14 club Toulon.
Nonu is the latest All Black to commit his future across the equator after news earlier this week that Dan Carter has signed a deal with Paris-based club Racing Métro.
He has long been a target for Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal, who sees him as the natural successor to Tana Umaga, who played for the side in 2005. He will bolster their already formidable midfield that includes Mathieu Bastareaud, Maxime Mermoz and Matt Giteau.
Toulon have also announced the signature of Clermont winger Napolioni Nalaga. The Fijian flyer is regarded as one of the finest finishers in the European game where he boasts the prolific record of 25 tries in 32 ERC matches.
