Sri Lanka’s Nishantha Fernando and Shaheed Hilmi managed to claim the Bronze medal of the Men’s Team event at the 8th World Carrom Championship.
The Sri Lankan duo defeated an experienced pair from Bangladesh 2-1 in the Bronze medal match held yesterday (04th October).
The Sri Lankan Carrom team, which included 8 players (4 male players and 4 female players) is currently participating in the 8th World Carrom Championship in Malaysia.
The competition commenced on 3rd October and will continue till 7th October with the participation of 250 players from 17 countries.
