Chilaw Marians vs BRC
Shehan Jayasuriya hit a belligerent 84 but a collective bowling effort from the BRC unit restricted a strong Chilaw batting line up to 256 all-out.
Deshan Dias’ half century at the top of the order kept BRC in the hunt but a cluster of wickets in the middle order put the game beyond BRC’s reach, before Vikum Sanjaya had some fun low down the order hitting an unbeaten 55*.
Dilshan Gunawardena was the pick of the bowlers for Chilaw with a three wicket haul while fast bowlers Asitha Fernando and Isuru Udana picked up two wickets apiece as Chilaw secured a 30 run victory.

Left arm tweaker Chathura Randunu’s dream spell of 6/30 bundled out Tamil Union for a paltry 113 runs while he got good support from Andy Solomons who chipped in with outstanding figures of 3/12.

Binura Fernando was impressive with the ball for Tamil Union as he picked up 3/19 but didn’t get a lot of support from the rest of the bowlers.
