After a top three finish last year, Navy Sports Club are once again in the Dialog Rugby League title hunt, aiming to finish at the top of the table this time around.
One of the most feared teams in the Dialog Rugby League, Navy Sports Club gained its reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the last decade and is the team that ended Kandy Sports Club’s nine-year dominance in 2009. They have not seen success since the famous league title win in 2014, finishing as runners-up in the 2014/2015 season, 4th in the 2015/2016 season and in 3rd place last season behind league winners Kandy Sports Club and Havelock Sports Club.
With many of their key players leaving the club over the last couple of seasons, the team is set to field an all-new playing outfit this season.
