Team Galle registered a comfortable win over Team Dambulla in the 4th match of the National Super League 4-Day Tournament 2025 worked off today at Galle International Cricket Stadium.

Chasing 251 runs to win, Team Dambulla were in dire straits losing 6 wickets for 27 runs at the close of play on Day 3. Dambulla batters only managed to add 78 runs to their overnight score as they were bundled out for 105 runs for their second innings.

The young left-arm spinner Dunith Wellalage was the star performer with the ball for Galle as he grabbed 6 wickets for 26 runs. Dilum Sudeera also shone with the ball taking 4 wickets for 48 runs.

The third match of the tournament played between Team Kandy and Team Colombo ended in a draw at Mahinda Rajapaksha International Cricket Stadium, Hambantota.

Chasing a mammoth target of 599 runs to win, Team Colombo managed to get off to a decent start putting on 85 runs for 1 wicket at the close of play on Day 3.

In the fourth and final day, Colombo batting lineup added 228 runs more to the total for the loss of 6 wickets. The national capped Avishka Fernando (74) and Charith Asalanka (65) starred with fighting half-centuries.
