Dhananjaya de Silva showed excellent resistance with the bat for Team Dambulla, scoring a fighting century against Team Galle in the fourth match of National Super League 4-Day Tournament 2025 continued for Day 2 at Galle International Cricket Stadium.
De Silva struck 106 runs off 155 balls with 14 fours helping Team Dambulla post 260 runs for their first innings in reply to Team Galle’s first innings score of 267.

Batting at No. 10, Lasith Embuldeniya also contributed with a vital knock of 54 runs – his highest score in first-class cricket. The speedsters Milan Rathnayake and Dilshan Madushanka shone with the ball, scalping 3 wickets each for Team Galle.
Team Kandy managed to take upper hand on Day 2 of their encounter against Team Colombo at Mahinda Rajapakshe International Cricket Stadium, Hambantota.
