Team Dambulla and Team Galle registered wins in the two encounters of the National Super League 50-Over Tournament 2023 that were worked off today (26th March) in Colombo.
Team Dambulla beat Team Colombo by 6 wickets in the 11th match of the NSL 50-over Tournament at the SSC Grounds.
Having won the toss, Team Dambulla opted to bowl first and the decision turned out to be gold as they managed to restrict Team Colombo to a paltry score of just 140 runs. The off-spinner Ashan Priyanjan strangled the Colombo batters with an excellent spell of 6/20.

Team Dambulla managed to chase down the target quite comprehensively with 6 wickets in hand. Pavan Rathnayake steered his side over the line with a match-winning half-century.
Team Galle registered a thrilling 1-wicket win over Team Jaffna in the 12th match of the NSL 50-over Tournament played today at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.
Having won the toss, Team Jaffna opted to bat first and posted a competitive total – 245/7 thanks to the major contributions from Ron Chandraguptha (57) and Lahiru Madushanka (48*).

Pasindu Sooriyabandara and Pathum Kumar led the way in the run-chase for Team Galle, scoring half-centuries as they crossed over the line in the last over of the game.
