The 60th Mercantile Knockout Team Table Tennis Championship concluded with MAS taking home the Men’s ‘A’ Division championship title defeating Seylan Bank in the final. The tournament took place on the 19th and 20th of July at the S. Thomas’ Sports Complex Mt. Lavinia.
The tournament was played with 68 Mercantile Teams under 30 top corporates from around the Island. Stepping into the digital era, the first day of the tournament launched the first ever web site to publish all results, rankings and a strong communication tool between MTTA and all corporates. With the MTTA’s second successful tournament of the year coming to an end, MAS Holding Pvt. Ltd stand tall in the top-ranking spot. Syscolabs trail behind at second while Unilevers settles into the third overall spot. Virtusa and Astron fall in line respectively to remain in the top 5 list.
