Two matches of the MCA Super Premier T20 Tournament were worked off today (20th June) at NCC Grounds in Colombo.
John Keells Group registered a comprehensive 5-wicket win over Sampath Bank in their Group A encounter worked off today at Moratuwa Stadium.
John Keells’ collective bowling effort was the highlight of the match as Sachitha Jayathilake, Duvindu Tillakaratne and Mohamed Dilshad bowled in tandem to demolish the Sampath Bank batting line-up.
Hatton National Bank (HNB) recorded a convincing win over CDB Finance in their Group B encounter which also played today at Moratuwa Stadium. Madawa Warnapura (38*), Malinda Perera (2/19) and Nalin Priyadharshana (2/20) starred in HNB’s victory.
